Hi everyone, today I’m gonna review Zoeva’s Rodeo Belle eyeshadow palette. I’ve been using this palette most days for the past few weeks so I thought it was about time I did a little review of it.
First thing I talk about when reviewing eyeshadow palettes is the packaging. This palette, as all other Zoeva palettes are covered by a thin cardboard protector which slides off for you to get to the palette. The protector and the palette are both of the same pattern.
The shades in the Rodeo Belle palette range from colours of reds, blues and greens with textures of matte and shimmer finishes. This palette is so beautiful to look at, the shades are all quite out there and normally this is not a palette I would have bought myself. I was actually gifted this palette by one of my friends for my birthday last year and I have only really started using it in the past few weeks. There are 4 matte shades and 6 shimmer shades to this palette. All shades are of a very high quality and very pigmented.
Early Sunrise – soft peachy beige colour with matte finish. Perfect for using in inner eye corner.
Rodeo Ready – medium dark cocoa brown shade with slight golden shimmers through the formula. Ideal for transition colour in the crease. Very pigmented shade.
Cactus flower – dusty rose pink with a matte finish. This shade is a little bit more powdery than the others with less pigmentation.
Western Diva – I adore this shade. This is a dark coffee brown shade with golden glitter though it. The shade comes up mostly matte but you can see the golden sparkles when the light shines.
Bang Bang – I LOVE this shade! It is a beautiful pinkish metallic red with a satin finish. The texture is so creamy and it is so pigmented.
Yee Haw – peacock blue satin shade with a metallic shine. There is a green undertone to this shade as well, it is so beautiful.
Hot Wind – sea foam green colour with a golden undertone. Very creamy and pigmented shade too.
Smoking Gun – medium metallic dark blue shade with silver specks. Very pigmented and easy to blend.
Day Money – dark grey shade with deep blue undertones. This is my least favourite I found it applied quite chalky and patchy.
Dead Shot – dark black shade with a golden shimmer throughout.
I love all the shades in this palette so much. I definitely think it is one of the most beautiful palettes I own with the widest range of colours. I have to be honest and say I wouldn’t have bought this palette for myself as a lot of the colours are out of my comfort zone but I am so glad my friend got me this. I can’t wait to try out new looks and expand my eye make up comfort zone.
Major pros of this palette is that it’s affordable and amazing quality. I have three Zoeva eyeshadow palettes and each one is filled with top quality, smooth, highly pigmented eyeshadows. As I mentioned in my review of the Blanc Fusion palette, Zoeva is a cruelty free brand and their products are also free of mineral oil and parabens.
Overall, I would rate this palette an 8.5/10. If you like the colours in this palette, I would 100% recommend to go out and buy it. If you don’t like the bright colours and won’t use blue eyeshadow I wouldn’t recommend it as most colours wouldn’t be getting used.
I hope you enjoyed reading this review,
